The Regular Season in LNB just started. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Asuncion: San Jose and Ciudad N.. San Jose crushed visiting Ciudad N. by 67 points 120-53. San Jose dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Ciudad N.'s 26. They outrebounded Ciudad N. 61-27 including a 17-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. San Jose looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Ciudad N.'s players. The former international forward Fernando Dose (200-1994) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) for the winners and Argentinian forward Franco Benitez (199-1994) chipped in 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). At the losing side Nahuel Scala responded with 17 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. San Jose's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Asuncion Felix Perez.

The former international center Guillermo Araujo (204-1982, agency: Pro Sports) nailed 22 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winning side and Alejandro Peralta accounted for 9 points, 8 rebounds and 11 assists. Swingman Oscar Laconich (184-1986) came up with 15 points and 5 rebounds for Campo Alto in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Felix Perez was crushed at home by 43 points 44-87 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Guillermo Araujo fired 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. William Brooks produced 8 points and 11 rebounds for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Olimpia K.'s supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Asuncion Libertad A..

In the last two games of round 1 San Jose won against Campo Alto on the opponent's court 86-68. Libertad A. managed to outperform Felix Perez in a home game 69-64.

Campo Alto was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch.
