The Regular Season in LNB just started. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Libertad A. smashed Sol de America in Asuncion 102-67. Libertad A. dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Sol de America's 38. They outrebounded Sol de America 43-23 including a 33-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Libertad A. looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by Sol de America's players. International point guard Jorge Martinez (178-1998) fired a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 assists for the winners. The former international Rodney Mercado (191-1999) chipped in 26 points and 7 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field). Juan Marti produced 24 points for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sol de America will play next round against strong San Jose trying to get back on the winning streak. It will be a derby game for which supporters look forward to, where their team will face at home their local rival from Asuncion - San Jose. Franco Benitez stepped up and scored 22 points for the winners. San Jose's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side Romeo Smith responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds. San Jose's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Asuncion to the arena Sol de America.

In the last game of round 1 Colonias G. crushed Campo Alto in Asuncion 72-44.

Felix Perez recorded a loss in Asuncion. Hosts were rolled over by Olimpia K. 73-44. Olimpia K. forced 23 Felix Perez turnovers and outrebounded them 50-29 including a 14-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. At the losing side forward Guillermo Osorio (192-1985) responded with 11 points and 8 rebounds and Argentinian point guard Santiago Peralta (183-2000) scored 14 points.
