(#5) and Campo Alto (#6). Campo Alto was crushed at home by 20 points 73-93 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Libertad A. outrebounded Campo Alto 39-21 including a 31-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Campo Alto's players. The former international forward Jorge Sequera (194-1988) fired a double-double by scoring 27 points and 13 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for the winners. The former international Rodney Mercado (191-1999) chipped in 21 points. Libertad A.'s coach Cristian Viveros used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Colonias G. made 9 blocks. Argentinian guard Franco Vieta (194-1992) fired a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Brazilian center Vinicius Malachias (209-1999) chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots). Five Colonias G. players scored in double figures.
