Bettiga number one in Paraguay LNB for round 13

Leonel Bettiga put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Felix Perez, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 13.
The player had a double-double of 11 points and 14 rebounds, while his team outclassed Sol de America (#8, 1-12) with 58-point margin 106-48. Felix Perez maintains the 4th position in Paraguayan LNB. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Felix Perez will need more victories to improve their 8-5 record. Bettiga just recently signed at Felix Perez, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Leonel Bettiga has solid league stats. He leads league in rebounds with 10.3rpg. Bettiga is in league's top in assists (3rd best: 4.4apg).

The second best player in last round's games was young international forward Jorge Sequera (194-F-1988) of Libertad A.. Sequera had a very good evening with a double-double of 27 points and 13 rebounds. Of course he led Libertad A. to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Campo Alto (#6, 3-10) 93-73. Libertad A.'s 5th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 7-6 record is not bad and everything may still change. Sequera is one of the most experienced players at Libertad A. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was Argentinian guard Franco Vieta (194-G-1992) of Colonias G. (#3). Vieta showcased his all-around game by recording 22 points, ten rebounds and five assists in the last round. He was a key player of Colonias G., leading his team to a 95-47 easy win against the lower-ranked Atletico C. (#7, 2-11). Colonias G. needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 8 victories and 5 lost games. Vieta has a very solid season. In 4 games in Paraguay he scored 19.0ppg.
