Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Asuncion: Olimpia (#4) and Sol de Amer. (#2). Sol de Amer. was smashed at home by 24 points 41-65 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Sol de Amer.. Olimpia held Sol de Amer. to an opponent 23.2 percent shooting from the field compared to 39.3 percent accuracy of the winners. Olimpia forced 20 Sol de Amer. turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Colombian forward Mabel Martinez (180-1986) had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Johana Ghiringhelli chipped in 11 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was Pamela Encina (-2005) with 6 points and 9 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Olimpia (2-3) moved-up to third place, which they share with Libertad. Sol de Amer. at the other side keeps the second position with two games lost. Olimpia is looking forward to face bottom-ranked Deportivo SJ (#5) in the next round. Sol de Amer.'s supporters also look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Asuncion to the arena Felix Perez.
Very significant was Felix Perez's (#1, 5-0) victory against 3rd ranked Libertad (2-3) 80-37. The former international guard Jazmin Mercado (171-1989) notched 21 points, 9 rebounds, 9 assists and 8 steals to lead the effort and Ximena Ibarra supported her with 10 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Felix Perez's coach felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 10 points by the former international Camila Bogado did not help to save the game for Libertad. Undefeated Felix Perez (5-0) have an impressive five-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with a perfect record of 5 victories in a row. Libertad at the other side keeps the third place with three games lost. They share the position with Olimpia. Felix Perez's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Asuncion Sol de Amer..
