Felix Perez - Olimpia 97-59 The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Asuncion: Felix Perez (#1) and Olimpia (#2). Felix Perez (7-0) crushed visiting Olimpia (4-4) by 38 points 97-59. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Olimpia. Felix Perez dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Olimpia's 28. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Olimpia's players. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Jazmin Mercado (171-1989) who scored 20 points and 5 assists. The former international center Ana Britez (174-2002) chipped in 8 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Johana Ghiringhelli who recorded 15 points and the former international forward Paloma Niz (175-1999) added 11 points and 5 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Felix Perez have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 7-0 record. Olimpia at the other side dropped to the third position with four games lost. Felix Perez are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Deportivo SJ (#5) in the next round.
