Felix Perez Cardozo Asuncion (Metropolitan League) added to their roster 25-year old Paraguayan ex-international forward Paloma Niz (175cm-1999) for new 2024 season. Niz just played at Montmartre in Argentinian LaLiga Femenina. In 20 games she had very impressive stats: 17.0ppg, 7.0rpg, 2.5apg and 2.3spg last season. Good year as she was named League Player of the Week (2 times). She also played 5 games in LaLiga Femenina where she recorded also remarkable stats: 17.2ppg, 8.0rpg, 2.6apg and 2.0spg. The other team she played shortly was Riachuelo (LaLiga Femenina). In three games she averaged 13.3ppg, 4.7rpg, 3.0apg and 1.7spg.
Niz was also a member of Paraguayan international program for some years. She played for Paraguayan Senior National Team between 2016 and 2022 and previously for U17 National Team back in 2015.
Niz also represented Paraguay at the FIBA South American Women's Championship in San Luis (Argentina) two years ago. Her stats at that event were 5 games: 2.6ppg, 1.0rpg.
She has played also professionally in Uruguay (Defensor Sporting Club Montevideo) and Paraguay (Olimpia, Sol de America Asuncion, Libertad, Ciudad Nueva and Leonas) and Argentina (Ameghino). Her team was regular season runner-up in Paraguayan Metropolitan League Apertura in 2016 and 2019.
