LNBF 2024 (Matchday 2) - Olimpia Queens and Felix Perez Cardozo win second straight, San Jose gets first victory

Olimpia Queens (2-0) and Felix Perez Cardozo (2-0) got their second straight victory in Paraguay's 2024 Liga Nacional de Baloncesto Femenino (LNBF), while Deportivo San Jose celebrated for the first time (1-1).

Olimpia Queens (2-0) took down Sol de America (0-2) with a final score of 84-45. Gabriela Bernal (2007) completed a double double of 22 points and 10 rebounds, followed by Antonella Luraghi (2006) with 15 points, Andrea Gomez (178-SF-1990) with 11 more and 6 rebounds and Carolina Caraves with 10. For Sol de America, Paz Godoy finished up with 15 points.

Meanwhile, Felix Perez Cardozo (2-0) crushed Colonias Gold (1-1), 82-31. Ana Britez (174-C-2002) was stellar with 16 points and 10 rebounds while Ximena Ibarra (172-G-2001) added another 16 points for the winning side. Diana Zalazar (165-PG-2003) followed them with 13 and 7 steals while Patricia Sosa (170-PG-2003) contributed with 12 more. For Colonias Gold, Lucia Lopez scored 7 points.

Deportivo San Jose (1-1) defeated Ciudad Nueva (0-2), 72-55. Micaela Sosa with 18 points and Jael Benitez (163-G-2003) with 14 more led the winners, while Ciudad Nueva's top performers in the offensive end were Aracelis Fernandez with 12 points and Sol Piris with 8 more.
