Felix Perez inks Sarah Mgbeike, ex Bashkimi

Sarah Mgbeike

Felix Perez Cardozo Asuncion (Metropolitan League) signed American forward Sarah Mgbeike (185cm, college: OLLU). She moved there from Bashkimi in Kosovan Superliga. In 10 games she had very impressive stats: 18.3ppg, 8.1rpg, 2.5apg and 1.7bpg last season. She helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final. 2023-24 was a great year as she was named to Eurobasket.com All-Liga Unike First Team. She also played 22 games in Superliga where she recorded also remarkable stats: 21.8ppg, 10.8rpg, 3.0apg, 2.2spg and 1.8bpg. She contributed to her team winning the League title and the cup. 2023-24 was a great season as she was voted Eurobasket.com All-Kosovo League Player of the Year, Import Player of the Year and Forward of the Year. The last summer she played at Correcaminos (LNBPF) in Mexican league.
She has played on four different continents: Europe, Asia, Latin America, and North America. She has previously played professionally in Jordan (Orthodox) and Mexico.
She attended Our Lady of the Lake University until 2020 and it's her fourth season as a professional player. She also played for San Diego Mesa College for 2 years.
