The most exciting game of round 7 in the LNB took place in Asuncion. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 6th ranked Libertad (1-5) to third ranked Olimpia K. (4-1) 75-73 on Monday evening. Olimpia K. looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. 25 personal fouls committed by Libertad helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Junior Peralta (203-1996) fired a double-double by scoring 29 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. The former international Rodney Mercado (191-1999) chipped in 21 points. The former international forward Jorge Sequera (194-1988) produced 14 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Libertad A.'s coach Daniel Talavera rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Olimpia K. moved-up to second place. Libertad at the other side dropped to the bottom position with five games lost. Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Asuncion: Ciudad N. (#7) and Sol de America (#5). Ciudad N. (1-4) won against visiting Sol de America (1-4) 58-51. Worth to mention a great performance of Juan Marti who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 5 rebounds. Alejandro Barreto contributed with 11 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. The former international swingman Jose Rolon (193-2000) answered with 16 points and 4 assists for Sol de America. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ciudad N. left bottom position moving up to fifth place, which they share with defeated Sol de America. It was Sol de America's fourth loss in a row. Ciudad N.'s supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Asuncion San Jose.

Felix Perez was defeated at home 64-73 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. It was a great evening for Sebastian Picton who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points and 6 rebounds. At the losing side Tobias Gomez responded with 12 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Undefeated San Jose (6-0) have an impressive series of six victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with a perfect record of 6 victories in a row. Felix Perez lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with three games lost.
