Peralta number one in Paraguay LNB for round 3

Naturalized Argentinian Forward Gabriel Peralta (203-F-1995) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Olimpia Kings, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
The 29-year old player had a double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds, while his team crushed Colonias (#5, 1-2) with 19-point margin 84-65. Olimpia K. is placed at 3rd position in Paraguayan LNB. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Olimpia K. will need more victories to improve their 2-1 record. In the team's last game Peralta had a remarkable 58.3% from 2-point range. It's his second year at Olimpia K. and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Gabriel Peralta has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (6th best: 15.0ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 9.0rpg), assists (8th best: 3.7apg) and averages impressive 59.3% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was another Olimpia K.'s star - young international Rodney Mercado (191-SF-1999). Mercado had a very good evening with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists. Third on the list of top players last round was Argentinian forward Sebastian Picton (197-F-1992) of league's top team Deportivo San Jose Asuncion. Picton scored 17 points and grabbed 5 rebounds.
