The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Asuncion: Felix Perez (#5) and Libertad A. (#2). Felix Perez (3-3) won against visiting Libertad A. (3-2) 80-67. The former international center Alen Juarez (201-2000) scored 18 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and naturalized Brazilian Edegar Alvarenga chipped in 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) during the contest. The best for the losing side was the former international guard Leandro Ferreira (184-1994) with 20 points. Libertad A.'s coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
