The most exciting game of round 13 in the LNB took place in Asuncion. Octavio Caputo answered with 9 points and 10 rebounds for Sol de America. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Olimpia K. have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain second place with 9-2 record having just one point less than leader San Jose. Sol de America at the other side still closes the standings with 11 games lost. Ciudad N. was crushed at home by 36 points 61-97 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Edwin Mijares stepped up and scored 12 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. At the losing side Giuliano Girett responded with 15 points and 4 assists. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Colonias maintains third place with 7-4 record having just one point less than leader San Jose. Ciudad N. lost their third game in a row. They keep the sixth position with eight games lost. Colonias' supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Asuncion Libertad.

Another exciting game was again a derby between two local teams from Asuncion: Colonias (#3) and Ciudad N. (#6). Ciudad N. was crushed at home by 36 points 61-97 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Colonias dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Ciudad N.'s 36. They outrebounded Ciudad N. 51-32 including a 37-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Colonias looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Venezuelan point guard Edwin Mijares (186-1992) stepped up and scored 12 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners and American forward Dwayne Russell (203-1998, college: St.Thomas, FL) chipped in 16 points and 11 rebounds.
