The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Asuncion: San Jose (#1) and Olimpia K. (#2). Olimpia K. was defeated at home 72-77 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. 29 personal fouls committed by Olimpia K. helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for the former international forward Ramon Sanchez (194-1991) who led his team to a victory with 20 points and 8 rebounds. Felix Perez's coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.
