Galarza's 17 points and 8 assists give him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

23-year old power forward Sebastian Galarza (185-PF-2001) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Colonias Gold and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3 (Second Stage).
He had the game-high 17 points adding six rebounds and eight assists for Colonias in his team's victory, helping them to beat Felix Perez (#4, 6-9) 87-76. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Colonias maintains the 3rd position in Paraguayan league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier in Second Stage. Colonias will need more victories to improve their 11-4 record. It's Galarza's second year at Colonias and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Sebastian Galarza averages this season 9.8ppg.

Second best performed player last round was Tony Farmer (201-F-1994) of league's second-best Olimpia Kings. He is American forward in his first season at Olimpia K.. Third place about best performers goes to another Colonias' star - forward Dwayne Russell (203-F-1998). Russell scored 21 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. He was another key player of Colonias Gold, helping his team with a 87-76 win against #4 ranked Felix Perez in a game of the week. Colonias needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 11 victories and 4 lost games. Russell has a great season in Paraguay. After 10 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.5ppg (2nd best) and rebounds with 8.4rpg (3rd best).
