Britez number one in Paraguay LNBF for round 4

International Center Ana Britez (174-C-2002) had a great game in the last round for top-ranked Felix Perez Cardozo Asuncion, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 22-year old player had a double-double of 20 points and 11 rebounds, while her team crushed, the league's bottom-ranked team Deportivo SJ (#4, 0-5) with 21-point margin 81-60. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Felix Perez to consolidate first place in the Paraguayan LNBF. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Felix Perez already had a very good start winning all 5 without losing a single one. Britez has many years of experience at Felix Perez, through which she has constantly improved. Ana Britez has solid league stats. She is in league's top in points (4th best: 13.8ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 10.2rpg) and averages impressive 69.8% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young international center Gabriela Bernal (188-C-2007) of league's second-best Olimpia Asuncion. Bernal had a very good evening with a double-double of 13 points and 13 rebounds. Of course she led Olimpia to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Sol de Amer. (#3, 1-4) 101-40. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Olimpia consolidated its place in top 2 of the standings. Her team lost just one game this season, while they won 4 matches. Bernal is a newcomer at Olimpia, but is already one of team's top players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 13.0ppg (#5). She also registered 11.6 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Olimpia's star - international guard Marta Peralta (171-SG-1994). Peralta scored 14 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. She was another key player of Olimpia Asuncion, helping her team with a 101-40 easy win against #3 ranked Sol de Amer.. Olimpia is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 4-1 record is not that bad... Peralta has a great season in Paraguay. After only 5 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 14.8ppg (3rd best), rebounds with 7.2rpg (4th best) and assists with 3.6apg (2nd best).
