The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Asuncion: San Jose (#1) and Olimpia K. (#2). San Jose (16-2) won against visiting Olimpia K. (13-5) 75-70. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Olimpia K.. 24 personal fouls committed by Olimpia K. helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for the former international forward Ramon Sanchez (194-1991) who led his team to a victory with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Sebastian Konrad scored 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Edwin Mijares chipped in 15 points and 10 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was the former international Ricardo Sarubbi (-1998) with 24 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Colonias maintains third position with 12-6 record having four points less than leader San Jose. Felix Perez lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with 12 games lost.

Another interesting game was again a derby between two teams from Asuncion: Colonias (#3) and Felix Perez (#4). Colonias (12-6) smashed visiting Felix Perez (6-12) by 22 points 103-81. Colonias dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Felix Perez's 30. Colonias players were unselfish on offense dishing 35 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Felix Perez's players. Sebastian Konrad scored 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Venezuelan point guard Edwin Mijares (186-1992) chipped in 15 points and 10 assists during the contest. Four Colonias players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was the former international Ricardo Sarubbi (-1998) with 24 points and the former international center Alen Juarez (201-2000) scored 10 points and 8 rebounds.
