Sanchez's 20 points and 7 rebounds give him Player of the Week award

33-year old forward Ramon Sanchez (194-F-1991) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's best team Deportivo San Jose Asuncion and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6 (Second Stage).
He had the game-high 20 points adding seven rebounds and five assists for San Jose in his team's victory, helping them to beat Olimpia K. (#2, 13-5) 75-70. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed San Jose to consolidate first place in the Paraguayan league. San Jose have a solid 16-2 record. In the team's last game Sanchez had a remarkable 57.1% from 2-point range and got three three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He has many years of experience at San Jose, through which he has constantly improved. Ramon Sanchez averages this season 12.5ppg and 5.8rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Ricardo Sarubbi (1998) of Felix Perez Cardozo Asuncion. He is international in his first season at Felix Perez. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Olimpia K. needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 13 victories and 5 lost games. Gomez has a very solid season. In 9 games in Paraguay he scored 9.8ppg. He also has 6.8rpg and a FGP of 54.7%.
