San Jose dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Colonias' 24. 24 personal fouls committed by Colonias helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The former international forward Ramon Sanchez (194-1991) scored 25 points to lead the charge for the winners and American center Dishon Lowery (200-1998, college: OKBU) chipped in 13 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Four San Jose players scored in double figures. International center Juan Poisson (198-1998) responded with 16 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and Andres Valencia produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. Colonias' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
