The standout forward Ramon Sanchez picked up the Player of the Year of the championship-winning Deportivo San Jose Asuncion. He received multiple other awards, was named the Forward of the Year, Domestic Player of the Year and was voted to the First Team. With Sanchez's outstanding performance, the Deportivo San Jose Asuncion achieved the best record of the season in the league, finishing with an impressive 10 to 1 in the regular season and 5 to 1 in the Round of 16. Sanchez's excellent performance assisted his team in beating the Colonias 3 to 1 in the final series. He was previously voted the Finals MVP back in 2022 and selected to the Second Team last year. Sanchez was the Player of the Week honoree in the league. He averaged almost 13 points and over 5 rebounds per game in the league. Sanchez has totalled 6 games of 20 or more points and recorded double-doubles in 2 games on the year. His 31 points against the Obras were the most he scored in the 2024 season.
Edwin Mijares, 32-year old Venezuelan point guard from the Colonias Gold, was selected as the Guard of the Year at the Paraguay. He collected multiple other honors, was honored as the Import Player of the Year and was chosen to the First Team. Mijares' best performance made his team reach the finals but they unfortunately lost against the San Jose 1 to 3. He registered almost 11 points per game that season in the league. Mijares led the Paraguay in assists per game with over 5. His 20 points against the San Jose were the most he scored in the 2024 season. Mijares' team was the regular season runner-up in the Venezuelan SPB Eastern Conference in 2023.
Juan Poisson, center from the Colonias Gold, earned the Center of the Year of Paraguay. He was also named to the First Team. Poisson's best performance made his team reach the finals but they unfortunately lost against the San Jose 1 to 3. He received Player of the Week award in the league. Poisson's court vision propelled him to the second spot in rebounds per game an outstanding average of 8. He also had 11 points per game over the season in the league. Poisson recorded double-doubles in 3 games during the event. His 19 points against Libertad Asuncion were the most he scored in the 2024 season.
Rodney Mercado, 25-year old small forward from the Olimpia Kings, earned a spot in the First Team at the Paraguay. With Mercado's excellent performance, the Olimpia Kings achieved the best record of the season in the league, finishing with an impressive 10 to 2 in the regular season. His best performance made his team reach the finals but they unfortunately lost against the San Jose 2 to 3. Mercado averaged almost 13 points and over 4 rebounds per game in the league. His 30 points against Libertad Asuncion were the most he scored in the 2024 season. Among many awards he was selected to the Latinbasket All-Paraguayan LNB Apertura Second Team in 2023.
The standout Argentinian forward Fernando Dose was voted to the First Team of the championship-winning Deportivo San Jose Asuncion. His excellent performance assisted his team in beating the Colonias 3 to 1 in the final series. Dose was previously named to Honorable Mention back in 2022 and 2023. His playmaking prowess was on full display as he secured the fifth position in points per game averaging over 13. Dose also logged almost 5 rebounds per game that season in the league. He has totalled 4 games of 20 or more points on the year. Dose's 30 points against the Sol de America were the most he scored in the 2024 season. Among many awards he was selected to the Latinbasket All-Paraguayan LNB First Team back in 2021. He was also selected as the Latinbasket All-Paraguayan LNB Apertura Honorable Mention in 2023.
