Stanley Scott gets MVP of the Week award for Paraguayan LNB

Stanley Scott put on an amazing game in the last round for league's leader Colonias Gold and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
The had a double-double of 28 points and 14 rebounds, while his team outclassed Luqueno (#3, 1-2) with 55-point margin 101-46. It allowed Colonias to consolidate first place in the Paraguayan LNB. The season is still on an early stage, but Colonias already had a very good start winning all 3 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Scott had a remarkable 55.0% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Colonias, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Scott has impressive league stats. He is league's best scorer averaging so far 26.7ppg. Scott is in league's top in rebounds (4th best: 9.3rpg) and averages solid 4.3spg and 62.7% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was another Colonias' star - young international forward Sebastian Konrad (198-F-2003). Konrad impressed basketball fans with 25 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Of course together with Scott he helped Colonias Gold with another comfortable win outscoring Central (0-3) 140-41. A very good start of the season for his team, which won so far all 3 games without any defeat. Konrad is a newcomer at Colonias and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was Argentinian Nicolas Reyero (183-G-2004) of Basket San Alfonso (#5). Reyero scored 28 points and passed 9 assists. Despite Reyero's great performance the San Alfonso lost 86-117 to Olimpia K. (#2, 3-0). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Reyero has individually a great season in Paraguay. After only 3 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 24.3ppg (3rd best) and assists with 8.0apg (best passer).

8. Tiago Tischler) of Colonias - 11 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists
9. Rodney Mercado (191-SF-1999) of Olimpia K. - 19 points and 5 rebounds
10. Gabriel Peralta (203-F-1995) of San Jose - 13 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists
