The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Colonias (4-1) in Asuncion on Thursday night. Hosts were defeated by Olimpia K. (5-0) 78-73. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Colonias. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Olimpia K. looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Gabriel Peralta fired 23 points for the winners. AJ Cheeseman produced 21 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. San Jose have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 4-0 record. Loser Felix Perez keeps the third place with two games lost. San Jose's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Asuncion Ciudad N..

In the last two games of round 4 Campo Alto destroyed San Alfonso on the opponent's court 95-68. Winless Central was outscored by Luqueno in a home game 48-112.

Rather expected game when 5th ranked San Alfonso (1-4) was crushed at home by third ranked Campo Alto (3-2) 95-68 on Thursday. Campo Alto dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to San Alfonso's 22. Campo Alto forced 19 San Alfonso turnovers and outrebounded them 44-30 including 33 on the defensive glass. Campo Alto looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Carlos Dos Santos fired a double-double by scoring 26 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Brazilian center Pedro Leopoldino (206-1998) chipped in 11 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Campo Alto players scored in double figures. Argentinian guard Nicolas Reyero (183-2004) produced 20 points and 7 assists and the former international Maxsuel Roque added 15 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted Campo Alto maintains third position with 3-2 record behind leader Olimpia K. San Alfonso lost fourth consecutive game. Elias Sanchez produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 15 rebounds and Diego Lopez added 4 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted Luqueno maintains fourth position with 2-3 record. Central at the other side, also newcomer in the league, still closes the standings with five games lost. Luqueno will meet league's leader Olimpia K. in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Central will play against San Alfonso (#5) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
