The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Colonias maintains second place with 6-1 record having just three point less than leader Olimpia K. Newly promoted Campo Alto keeps the third position with three games lost. The former international forward Gabriel Peralta (203-1995) orchestrated the victory by scoring 9 points and 11 rebounds. Fernando Dose contributed with 10 points and 6 assists for the winners. Thiago Martinez answered with 19 points for Ciudad N.Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Undefeated San Jose have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 5-0 record. Ciudad N. at the other side keeps the fourth position with four games lost. San Jose will play against Guairena (#5) in the next round. Ciudad N.'s supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Asuncion Felix Perez.

They maintain first place with 6-0 record. Newly promoted Luqueno dropped to the fifth position with five games lost. Olimpia K. will meet San Alfonso (#4) in the next round. Luqueno will play against the league's second-placed Colonias in Asuncion and hope to secure a win.
Other games of round 5 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
