Silvio Moura gets MVP of the Week award for Paraguayan LNB

Silvio Moura had a very impressive game in the last round for Basket San Alfonso and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5.
The had a double-double of 32 points and 14 rebounds, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Central (#6, 0-6) with 68-point margin 118-50. San Alfonso is placed at 4th position in Paraguayan LNB. San Alfonso is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 2-4 record. In the team's last game Moura had a remarkable 77.8% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at San Alfonso, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Moura has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (8th best: 16.7ppg) and averages solid 2.3spg and 63.1% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was another San Alfonso's star - young Argentinian guard Nicolas Reyero (183-G-2004). Reyero impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 20 points and 12 assists. Of course together with Moura he helped Basket San Alfonso with another comfortable win outscoring Central (#6, 0-6) 118-50. This victory allowed San Alfonso to move up to 4th position in Group B. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 2-4 record. Reyero is one of the most experienced players at San Alfonso and similarly like Silvio Moura has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.7ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 5.2rpg and 8.3apg.

The third best performed player last round was Hugo Flores of second-ranked Colonias Gold. Flores scored 17 points and passed 6 assists. He was a key player of Colonias, leading his team to a 93-58 easy win against the lower-ranked Luqueno (#5, 2-5). Colonias is closer and closer to top of the standings in Group B. They will still need more victories. But 6-1 record is not that bad... Flores has a very solid season. In 7 games in Paraguay he scored 12.3ppg.
