The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of San Jose (12-1) in Asuncion on Monday night. Visitors were rolled over by Olimpia K. (15-0) 103-77. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Mexican forward Daviyon Draper (200-1994, college: FIU) who helped to win the game recording 24 points. The former international forward Fernando Dose (200-1994) replied with 17 points for San Jose. Colonias' coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. At the losing side Argentinian Aaron Pablo (200-2000) responded with 14 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Colonias maintains third position with 11-4 record having just one point less than leader Olimpia K. Felix Perez lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with six games lost. The game between fifth ranked Campo Alto (9-7) and 8th ranked San Alfonso (4-10) in Asuncion on Tuesday ended with biggest points difference. Campo Alto outscored guests from 104-71. The winners were led by Carlos Dos Santos who scored that evening 18 points and 7 rebounds. Campo Alto's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 19 points and 8 rebounds by Silvio Moura did not help to save the game for San Alfonso. Newly promoted Campo Alto maintains fifth position with 9-7 record. San Alfonso at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the eighth place with ten games lost.
