Newly promoted Deportivo Campo Alto Asuncion (LNB) signed 27-year-old Brazilian 202cm forward Jose Carlos Junior. He last played for Colonias in the Paraguayan LNB league in 2024. He missed the last season and took a one-year break from professional basketball.
He has played previously in Brazil (Paschoalotto/Bauru, Maringa, Brusque, Ponta Grossa, and Vitoria) and Paraguay (Amambay).
His team won the Brazilian CBB League Conferencia Chui Regular Season in 2023.
