Ruiz comes back to Olimpia Kings, ex Caxias do Sul

Defending champion Olimpia Kings (LNB) signed 23-year-old Paraguayan international 187cm point guard Fabrizzio Ruiz. It is his return to Asuncion as he previously played there. Ruiz last played for Caxias do Sul Basquete in the Brazilian NBB league, where he averaged 8.2ppg, 3.0rpg, 3.5apg, and 1.1spg in 35 games last season.
He has been a member of the Paraguayan international program for some years. Ruiz has regularly played for the Paraguayan senior team since 2024 and previously for the Under 16 National Team in 2017.
He has played also in Brazil (Blumenau and Cearense) and Paraguay (Sol de America and Libertad Asuncion) and Brazil.
His team reached the Paraguayan Metropolitan League Clausura Semifinals in 2019.
