Newly promoted Deportivo Campo Alto Asuncion (LNB) signed 25-year-old Brazilian forward Jeferson Arguello for the upcoming season. He played for Mandic Basket in the Brazilian Paulista league this summer, averaging only 1.5ppg and 1.8rpg in four games.
