Morrison number one in Paraguay LNB for round 10

American Dominique Morrison (198-SF-1989, agency: Haylett Sports) had a very impressive game in the last round for Felix Perez Cardozo Asuncion, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
The 36-year old player was the main contributor (30 points, five rebounds and two assists) to his team's victory, helping them to outclass Ciudad N. (#8, 1-8) with 27-point margin 87-60. Felix Perez maintains the 4th position in Paraguayan LNB. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Felix Perez will need more victories to improve their 6-3 record. In the team's last game Morrison had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 8 attempts. He turned to be Felix Perez's top player in his first season with the team. Former Oral Roberts University star has very solid stats this year. Morrison is league's best scorer averaging so far 24.8ppg. Morrison is in league's top in rebounds (8th best: 7.2rpg) and averages impressive 64.6% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Desmond Holloway (194-SF-1990) of Basket San Alfonso. Holloway had a very good evening with a double-double of 21 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as San Alfonso lost that game 71-121 to league's leader Olimpia K. (#1, 9-0). San Alfonso managed to keep the same 6th spot in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 3-6 record. Holloway is a newcomer at San Alfonso, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.1ppg (#3). He also registered 6.0 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was Hugo Ramos of Deportivo Amambay (#5). Ramos showcased his all-around game by recording 26 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Amambay, leading his team to a 87-73 easy win against the higher-ranked Colonias (#2, 7-2). Amambay needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 5 victories and 4 lost games. Ramos has a great season in Paraguay. After only 9 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.9ppg (6th best) and assists with 5.0apg (best passer).
