Ventura number one in Paraguay LNB for round 13

Brazilian Guard Osmar Ventura (190-G-2004) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Deportivo Amambay, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 13.
The 21-year old player was the main contributor (27 points, six rebounds) to his team's victory, helping them to crush, the league's bottom-ranked team Luqueno (#9, 0-11) with 16-point margin 88-72. Amambay maintains the 5th position in Paraguayan LNB. Amambay is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 6-6 record. In the team's last game Ventura had a remarkable 70.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Amambay's top player in his first season with the team. Osmar Ventura has solid league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (3rd best: 9.2rpg) and averages impressive 59.8% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was Carlos Lopez of Atletico Ciudad Nueva. Lopez had a very good evening with a double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds. After 12 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 16.2ppg (9th best).
