Victor Da Costa gets MVP of the Week award for Paraguayan LNB

Victor Da Costa had a great game in the last round for Deportivo Amambay and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 14.
The had the game-high 20 points adding nine rebounds and two assists for Amambay in his team's victory, helping them to outclass San Alfonso (#6, 5-7) with 47-point margin 119-72. Amambay is placed at 4th position in Paraguayan LNB. Amambay is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 7-6 record. In the team's last game Da Costa had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. It was one of impressive evenings for him as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Victor Da Costa averages this season 10.2ppg and 6.5rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American Dominique Morrison (198-SF-1989, agency: Haylett Sports) of Felix Perez Cardozo Asuncion. He was another key player of Deportivo Amambay, helping his team with a 119-72 easy win against slightly lower-ranked San Alfonso (#6, 5-7). Amambay needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 7 victories and 6 lost games. Trindade has a very solid season.
