The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Asuncion: Olimpia (#3) and Sol de Amer. (#4). Sol de Amer. was crushed at home by 18 points 51-69 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Olimpia dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Sol de Amer.'s 22. They outrebounded Sol de Amer. 56-32 including a 41-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. fired a double-double by scoring 16 points, 16 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals for the winners. chipped in 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Paz Godoy produced 15 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Olimpia maintains third place with 4-4 record having four points less than leader Felix Perez. Sol de Amer. lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with six games lost.

Felix Perez's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Sofia Vigna answered with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds for Olimpia. Undefeated Felix Perez (8-0) have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with a perfect record of 8 victories in a row. In the last two games of round 7 Deportivo SJ lost to undefeated Felix Perez in Asuncion 57-82. Sol de Amer. was beaten by Deportivo SJ at home 58-65.
