Charles Hinkle gets MVP of the Week award for Paraguayan LNB (Second Stage)

Experienced American Charles Hinkle (198-G-1988) had a great game in the last round for league's leader Olimpia Kings and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4 (Second Stage).
The 37-year old guard had the game-high 26 points adding eight rebounds for Olimpia K. in his team's victory, helping them to beat Colonias (#2, 20-3) 90-85. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Olimpia K. to jump to the first place in the Paraguayan LNB. Olimpia K. has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 20-2. In the team's last game Hinkle had a remarkable 71.4% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He turned to be Olimpia K.'s top player in his first season with the team. The American University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Hinkle is league's best scorer averaging so far 23.0ppg. Hinkle is in league's top in and averages solid 58.1% FGP and 45.3% from behind 3-point line.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was another Olimpia K.'s star - young American Jeremiah Wood (201-C/F-1985). Wood impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 10 points and 15 rebounds. Of course Olimpia Kings cruised to a 76-64 relatively comfortable win over slightly lower-ranked San Jose (#3, 14-8). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Olimpia K. consolidated its place in the very top position of the standings. His team belongs to top of the standings with 20-2 record and is considered one of the main candidates for the league title. Wood is a newcomer at Olimpia K. and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was another Olimpia K.'s star - American Danjel Purifoy (201-F-1995, agency: Helping Ballers). Purifoy scored 18 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. He was another key player of Olimpia Kings, helping his team with a 93-67 easy win against #4 ranked Felix Perez. Many experts and fans count Olimpia K. as a contender for championship title. Another victory and another confirmation that they may be right. Just look at their record: 20 victories and only two lost games. They are currently at the very top of the standings. Purifoy has a great season in Paraguay. After 14 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 16.6ppg (6th best). He also has a FGP of 58.1% and 3PT: 46.8%.
