Colonias outrebounded Olimpia K. 47-31 including 34 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of Diego Silva who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 8 rebounds and American forward Samuel Givens (198-1989, college: Drexel) who added 14 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Four Colonias players scored in double figures. At the losing side Jorge Martinez responded with 18 points and 4 assists and the former international swingman Vincenzo Ochipinti (191-1999) scored 12 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
