Wood re-signs at Olimpia Kings

Olimpia Kings (LNB) confirmed in their roster experienced 41-year old American power forward Jeremiah Wood (201cm-108kg-1985) for the upcoming 2026 season. He played there last season. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and he had a chance to explore basketball on different levels. In 18 LNB games, he recorded 12.2ppg, 10.1rpg, and 3.3apg. He helped them to win the league title. 2025-25 was a great season as he was voted Latinbasket.com All-Paraguayan LNB Apertura Player of the Year, Import Player of the Year, and Latinbasket.com All-Paraguayan LNB Apertura Defensive Player of the Year. Wood also played 8 games in Liga Sudamericana where he averaged 7.5ppg, 4.9rpg, and 2.9apg. He contributed to his team making it to the semifinals. Wood is a highly experienced player, having played in five different countries on three different continents - Europe, Latin America, and North America. He has played for teams in Argentina (Ferro and San Martin), Finland (KTP-Basket, Vilpas, and Karhubasket), France (ALM Evreux), Paraguay (San Jose), and Canada (Jackals). It is likely that he will finish his playing career with Olimpia Kings.
