The Regular Season in LNBF just started. Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

First defeat of league's leader Deportivo SJ against Felix Perez 84-50 was the most important game of the last round. Felix Perez dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Deportivo SJ's 26. They outrebounded Deportivo SJ 51-34 including a 42-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Felix Perez looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Deportivo SJ's players. Worth to mention a great performance of Belen Pereira who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 assists. The former international forward Paloma Niz (175-1999) contributed with 18 points and 4 steals for the winners. Gabriela Lopez answered with 8 points and 8 rebounds for Deportivo SJ. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Deportivo SJ will play next round against strong Sol de Amer. trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Felix Perez will try to continue on its current victory against Olimpia. It will be extra interesting game as Olimpia is their local rival from Asuncion.
