Villasboa's double-double lands her Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

Sofia Villasboa had a great game in the last round for second-ranked Olimpia Asuncion and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
She had a double-double of 26 points and 10 rebounds, while her team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Sol de Amer. (#4, 0-3) with 27-point margin 74-47. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Olimpia maintains the 2nd position in Paraguayan LNBF. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Olimpia will need more victories to improve their 3-1 record. In the team's last game Villasboa had a remarkable four three-pointers out of 7 attempts. She just recently signed at Olimpia, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Villasboa has impressive league stats. She is league's best scorer averaging so far 17.0ppg and leads league in rebounds with 8.8rpg. Villasboa is in league's top in and averages solid 42.3% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Constanza Lopez (G-2006). She is a guard in her first season at Olimpia. In the last game Lopez recorded an impressive 13 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Of course together with Villasboa she helped Olimpia Asuncion with another comfortable win outscoring Sol de Amer. (#4, 0-3) 74-47. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Olimpia consolidated its place in top 2 of the standings. Her team's 3-1 record is not bad at all. Lopez is one of the most experienced players at Olimpia and similarly like Sofia Villasboa has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to another Olimpia's star - forward Giulianna Dose (175-F-2004). Dose scored 12 points and grabbed 9 rebounds.
