Experienced American Jeremy Hollowell (203-SF-1994, agency: BIG) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's second-best Olimpia Kings and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 12.
The 31-year old had a double-double of 28 points and 12 rebounds, while his team beat Colonias (#3, 8-3) 79-64. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Olimpia K. maintains the 2nd position in Paraguayan LNB. They are still close to the very top. Olimpia K. would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 10-2 record. In the team's last game Hollowell had a remarkable 64.3% from 2-point range and got three three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He just recently signed at Olimpia K., being already a very valuable addition to the team. Jeremy Hollowell averages just after three games 14.7ppg and 8.0rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Lithuanian power forward Norbertas Giga (208-F/C-1995) of Colonias Gold. Giga impressed basketball fans with 25 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Bad luck as Colonias lost that game 64-79 to slightly higher-ranked Olimpia K. (#2, 10-2). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Colonias still maintains its place in the top 3 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team's 8-3 record is not bad at all. Giga is one of the most experienced players at Colonias and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was Argentinian Juan Luis Abeiro (200-C/F-1988) of Felix Perez Cardozo Asuncion (#4). Abeiro showcased his all-around game by recording 15 points, 14 rebounds (!!!) and 5 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Felix Perez, leading his team to a 101-83 easy win against slightly lower-ranked Campo Alto (#6, 4-8). Felix Perez needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 6 victories and 6 lost games. Abeiro has a great season in Paraguay. After 11 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 25.4ppg (best scorer), rebounds with 10.9rpg (#1 in league) and assists with 4.0apg (7th best). He also has a FGP of 64.8% and 3PT: 48.8%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Nicolas Burgos (207-C-2003) of San Jose - 19 points and 11 rebounds

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
