Regatas Lima clinched Liga Nacional de Basketball title beating Faraday in the Final series. In the decisive game they posted a 90-67 win as they scored 30 points in the first period. Moreover Regatas managed to win the second and the third quarter and did not mind a narrow 22-25 loss in the last stanza. Shaquille Keith (196-F-93) stepped up with 28 points and Lyonell Gaines (198-F-93, college: Morehead St.) added 19. Milos Petcovich replied with 21 in a loss and Yavario Smith (182-PG-89, college: Central Mo.) notched 19.
