EOFAP clinched Torneo Apertura 2018 title in Peru. In the Final series they swept Ejercito 2-0 as they posted a 65-63 win last night. EOFAP won the first period 20-12, but Ejercito replied with the massive 27-5 surge in the second frame to take the lead. EOFAP needed a 22-10 run in the third quarter and then finished with an 18-14 rally at the end. In the series for the third place Regatas Lima beat Real de Lima 83-79 in overtime.
EOFap clinched Liga de Lima Clausura title. They prevailed against Ejercito in the championship series. EOFap had to go all the distance for the victory. They earned a 63:56 victory in Game 1. But Ejercito refused to go down without a fight. They claimed a comfortable 61:41 win in the second game to force the decider. But EOFap eked out a 64:59 win in the decisive third game to clinch the trophy.
