Luisana Ortega (ex Macara Lums) signs at Univer./Real Club

Luisana Ortega

Universidad de Lima / Real Club de Lima landed 28-year old Venezuelan international small forward Luisana Ortega (170-89) for the upcoming edition of Liga Nacional, set to begin on April 6th with 12 teams split into 3 groups. She played in the summer at Macara Lums in Ecuadorian Liga Femenina. Ortega also played for Cangrejas in Venezuelan league that season.
Among other achievements she played in the final of Venezuelan LINABAFE in 2011, 2012, 2014 and 2016.
Ortega also represented Venezuela at the Olympic Games Additional Qualifying Round in Nantes (France) two years ago. Her stats at that event were 2 games: 2.0ppg, 1.0rpg.
Ortega has played also professionally for other Venezuelan teams like Llaneras, Bucaneras and Guaras.
