Deportivo Nones de Quillabamba defeated Decx's de Calca, 72-69, to win the TNA 2018 championship's Final Four and earn a spot in the next edition of Peru's Liga Nacional de Baloncesto (LNB), the country's first division basketball league.

Venezuelan Victor Arellano was named Best Foreign Player of the Finals and Marcos Montes, captain of Quillabamba, was named Best National Player of the Finals.

Meanwhile, Venezuelan Christian Poleo (204-F/C-92) was the top scorer of the tournament with 200 points, while Peruvian Anderson Quispe netted 12 three-point shots to lead the stats.

Sherekhan de Huanuco finished at third place, thanks to a victory over Kings de Puno, 103-80. Decx's de Calca and Sherekhan de Huanuco will have a chance to play for another two spots in the LNB 2019 season, against the last two teams of the LNB 2018 standings, according to the Peruvian Federation regulations.
  



EOFap beat Ejercito in the opener - 4 days ago
EOFap beat Ejercito in the opener of the Final series in Peru. They grabbed a 52-48 win due to the first half. EOFap posted a 20-16 lead in the first period and added a defensive 11-3 surge in the second frame. Ejercito replied with a 16-14 run in the third period and posted a 13-7 rally in the last stanza that was not however enough for the total win. Game 2 is scheduled for July 21st.   [read more]
Ejercito and EOFAP reach the Finals - 8 days ago
Ejercito and EOFAP reached the Finals in Liga de Lima. EOFAP swept the Semifinal series against Regatas 2-0 as they posted a 68-65 win in the last game. Trailing 17-28 in the opening period, EOFAP needed a 15-6 run in the second period and added two more victories in the second half. Ejercito won over Real de Lima 2-1 with the final 60-39 victory. Ejercito erupted with a comfortable 15-3 surge at the end of the game to seal the win.   [read more]
