Antarqui adds Betancourt to their roster, ex Anzoategui

Odeth Betancourt

Antarqui (Liga Nacional) added to their roster Venezuelan international power forward Odeth Betancourt (185). She just played at the junior team of Anzoategui in Venezuelan LINABAFE. Betancourt missed last season and had one year break from professional basketball.
Despite young age Betancourt had impressive career. Betancourt's team made it to the LINABAFE Semifinals in 2016. She was also voted Latinbasket.com All-South American Championships U17 1st Team in 2017.
She has been also a member of Venezuelan international program for some years. Betancourt has regularly played for Venezuelan senior team since 2017 and previously for U18 National Team in 2016.
She represented Venezuela at the South American Championships in Tunja (Colombia) last year. Her stats at that event were 5 games: 7.0ppg, 2.4rpg, FGP: 53.8%, FT: 58.3%.
