Marielka Garate is a second Venezuelan added to the roster of Real Club

Real Club (Liga Nacional) strengthened their roster with addition of 24-year old Venezuelan international power forward Marielka Garate (183-95). She joins another Venezuelan player Luisana Ortega who is already in the roster.
Garate played in the summer at Real Club in the Liga de Lima. She helped them to win the Liga de Lima Clausura title.
Garate has been also a member of Venezuelan international program for some years. She has regularly played for Venezuelan senior team since 2013 and previously for U16 National Team back in 2011.
Garate represented Venezuela at the South American Championships in Tunja (Colombia) last year. Her stats at that event were 5 games: 2.0ppg, 3.6rpg.
Garate has played previously professionally also in Venezuela (Anzoategui, Bucaneras and Osas).
