Liga de Lima Round 12: Circolo defeats San Borja in the game between Top 4 teams

An interesting game for Circolo (7-4) which hosted in one of their biggest challengers San Borja (5-6). Third ranked Circolo had an easy win 65-43. Circolo maintains third position with 7-4 record having just two points less than leader Regatas. San Borja at the other side keeps the fourth place with six games lost. Circolo are looking forward to face league's second-placed Real Club in Lima in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. San Borja will have a break next round.
Liga de Lima top team - Regatas (10-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixth ranked Palmeras (1-8) 63-39. Undefeated Regatas have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 10-0 record. Palmeras lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keep the sixth place with eight games lost. Regatas will play against Naval (#5) in the next round. Palmeras will play against Seirin and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game between second ranked Real Club (9-1) and 5th ranked Naval (3-6) in Lima on Sunday ended with biggest points difference. Real Club outscored guests from 72-36. Real Club have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 9-1 record behind leader Regatas. Loser Naval keeps the fifth place with six games lost. Real Club will meet Circolo (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Naval will play against the league's leader Regatas and hope to secure a win.
