Sambucetti is back at Regatas

Bruno Sambucetti

Club Regatas Lima (LBL) signed 28-year old point guard Bruno Sambucetti (182cm-1997). It is actually his comeback to Lima as he has played here before. He played last summer at Claretiana in Peruvian LNB league. LBL will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. He also played for another Peruvian team Dinosaurios earlier that season.
Sambucetti represented Peru at the South American Championship U21 in Salta (Argentina) seven years ago. During this event he scored an average of 6.4 points per game and had 3.6 rebounds per game.
He has played also in Portugal (Academica).
Sambucetti won Peruvian Liga de Lima Clausura championship title in 2023.
