Ashley Prim

Atenienses de Manatee (BSNF) signed 26-year old Puerto Rican international guard Ashley Prim (170-91, college: St.Joseph's, agency: Gamble Sports Management). She is a dual citizen owning also American passport. Prim played last season at Neftochimic in Bulgarian NBL league. In 14 games she had 13.3ppg, 3.7rpg, 2.5apg and 2.1spg. She helped them to make it to the semifinals. A very impressive season as she was named to Eurobasket.com All-Bulgarian League 3rd Team.
The most of previous (2016) summer Prim spent at Indias where in 28 games she recorded 14.7ppg, 5.8rpg and 4.9apg in 2016 season. Quite impressive year as she was named to Puerto Rican BSNF All-Star Game. She also played for Team Dominican Rep. in U.S. semi-pro league Eurobasket Summer League in Atlanta that season. In three games she was second best scorer with 12.3ppg and averaged 3.0rpg in 2016 season.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Prim played in the final of Puerto Rican BSNF in 2015. She was also voted All-Atlantic 10 Sixth Man of the Year back in 2011 at her college time.
Prim represented Puerto Rico at the Central American and Caribbean Games in Veracruz (Mexico) three years ago. Her team won Silver and her stats at that event were 4 games: 4.3ppg.
Prim is quite experienced player. She has played in four different countries on three different continents (Asia, Latin America and of course North America). Prim has played previously professionally in Bahrain (Muharraq), Puerto Rico (Leonas), United Arab Emirates (Banijas) and Mongolia (SBL Khasyn Khuleguud Becks).
She attended Saint Joseph's University until 2013 and it will be her fifth season as a professional player.
