Mayaguez welcomes back Reyes

Indios de Mayaguez (BSN) landed 26-year old Puerto Rican-American international 193cm swingman Justin Reyes, college: STAC. It is actually his comeback to Indios as he has played here before. Reyes played last summer at San Lazaro in TBS league in Dominican Republic. In 12 games he averaged impressive 16.2ppg, 8.3rpg, 3.0apg and 1.3spg. He helped them to make it to the Dominican Rep. TBS League final after they ended regular season as second best team. It was a very successful year in his career as he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Dominican Rep. TBS 1st Team.
Three years ago Salt Lake City Stars selected him as first overall pick in G-League draft.
Reyes attended St. Thomas Aquinas College (NCAA Div.II) until 2018 and it will be his fifth season in pro basketball.
He also represented Puerto Rico at the Panamerican Games in Lima (Peru) two years ago. Reyes' team won Silver and his stats at that event were 5 games: 5.6ppg, 2.0rpg, FGP: 45.0%, FT: 76.9%.
Reyes has played also professionally in NBA G League (Raptors 905 Missisauga).
Among many awards his college team won ECC Tournament for three years in a row ( between 2016 and 2018). He received All-ECC Player of the Year award back in 2016, 2017 and 2018.
