Brujos de Guayama agreed terms with 34-year old American center Melvin Ely (207-C-118kg-78, college: Fresno St.). In his first game he scored 2 points helping his new team beat Guaynabo 86-79. Ely played most recently at Charlotte Bobcats (NBA) in the U.S. He played also pro basketball in China and USA. Ely graduated Fresno State University in 2002 and it will be his tenth season in pro basketball.

STEDMON LEMON American Stedmon Lemon (198-F-92) put on an amazing game in the last week for league's leader Aguada and that's him to receive a Interperformances Player of the Week award for week 7.
