Jose Alvarado Re-Signs With Knicks on a Three-Year Deal

Joseph Alvarado (6'0''-PG-1998, college: Georgia Tech) has agreed to a three-year contract with the New York Knicks worth more than $14 million, declining his $4.5 million player option to sign the new deal.
The Knicks acquired Alvarado at the trade deadline from the New Orleans Pelicans. He stepped in as the backup point guard behind Jalen Brunson after the move and played a particularly critical role in New York's comeback win in Game 4 of the Finals against the San Antonio Spurs, a contribution that helped the franchise to its title run.
